Warning - BTHUSB - "A command sent to the adapter has timed out. If I check the system event logs I see this almost every minute: I am hoping it is just a wonky driver somewhere and once that's sorted all will go back to normal.
literally 10 minutes it sits there "Uninstalling Devices" then asks me to restart but nothing seems to work, also one other thing to mention is that the system is EXTREMELY unstable, almost every time I sleep it, or restart with updates it just hangs for ages, eventually reboots and tells me there was an error and to report it to Microsoft. Uninstalling the bluetooth device takes FOREVER. Removing devices (not removing drivers) then letting windows add them again It suggests to me a hardware fault, but I'm happy to try something if anyone has any suggestions? I tried a driver directly from Atheros but that hasn't changed anything. Should this just work out of the box? I tried to open the bluetooth settings by going to the bluetooth icon in the taskbar but when I click bluetooth settings and then try to click any of the settings, it either freezes or tells me it can't save the setting I clicked (namely the one that says 'allow devices to see my computer').Īfter trying bluetooth the laptop doesn't restart properly. When I first turn on bluetooth (fn + F12) and open 'change pc settings -> devices' I can see it says driver error below the "Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth 4.0 + HS".
